In dealing with anger…
Venting when angry or frustrated is quite a healthy way to get back to a good mental state, despite what you may have been led to believe.
In fact, this can be done in numerous ways, and doesn’t only include lashing out. Whichever method you use, know that venting is a key ingredient if you want to get over and done with any issue that is consuming you.
You can vent by:
Writing
Writing is one of the most powerful means to get out true emotions. When you write, it allows you to flesh out how you really feel about something or someone and it also gives you the opportunity to relive the memory and provides a way for you to change or improve on yourself.
Meditation
Meditating not only relaxes, but it gives you a deep understanding of why certain things took place.
Crying
God gave you tears for a reason. Let it out and let it go.
Talking it out
Talk to someone you can trust. It is always best to get someone else involved as it gives you a different perspective on whatever it may be that caused you to be bitter and angry within. Sometimes in talking to someone you’ll realise the reason you should really let go.
Praying
Who else is best to vent to but your maker? Praying is a very therapeutic activity.
