The lies men tell
To what degree would a man go to ensure that he gets a woman in bed? For some, it involves lots of sweet talking to take her to the moon and back, and a prolonged and calculated courting process in which he tries to sell his best attributes. For others, it’s a web of lies that tangles her in.
We asked men, have you ever lied to get someone in bed with you, and what did you lie about?
Al:
I told a girl I was interested in that the Benz she saw me with was mine, but I’d actually just carried it to go wash for my boss. She fell for it and the next day she let out the good thing pon mi.
Jason:
Yeah man, mi tell a girl how much business mi run and she give it to mi easy like that. It shows me that women are licky licky – most of them anyway. Once a man has money he can buy a woman no matter how she seems untouchable. They love money.
Chris:
I told a woman that I was single when I was actually married with four kids. I just wanted a fling, because I couldn’t leave my perfect wife for her. Man cheat and lie haffi gwaan when a man a do him ting.
Raynar:
I carried a girl to by brethren’s apartment when truth is, I was hitching it on my babymother’s settee. But she did believe a my apartment and she give mi a night of lovemaking so it worked out until she found out.

I lied to a bank girl that I lived overseas when I actually live in the country. She gave me her contacts and that was the beginning. All now mi still a link her and right now, she think a foreign mi deh. Mi just hope she nuh buck mi up.
