Open regrets
The lines between acceptable and unacceptable in the bedroom have become blurred in recent years, as what was once taboo for many has become more of a requirement for some. Popular music and movies have served to legitimize certain habits, and no longer are people accepting excuses from their partners about what they won’t do; they are instead demanding what they want.
But often, in the quest to please a partner who may be bent on exploring everything salacious, we have regrets, because deep down our morals supercede the wishes of others. It’s these regrets that the women below share – regrets about having gone the full gamut to please their partners, then realizing that they couldn’t live with themselves afterwards.
AK:
My man suggested a threesome and I said yes because I didn’t want to make my relationship boring. But after we did that act, he wanted a foursome and that was the straw that broke my back because it cost us our relationship. I regret doing the threesome because I am not that type, but I dropped my standards for him. After that he basically had no respect for me. So I am advising women to be extremely careful about what they allow in their relationships.
JM:
I allowed my man to get with one of my close friends because he said he really wanted to. After that scene of freakiness, he went and had an affair with her and now she is five months pregnant with his baby and I am about to lose both my friend and my man.
TW:
One night my man told me he had a surprise for me and took me to a hotel. I was wondering what exactly he was planning on doing and as I opened the room door, there was a woman lying there waiting. He begged me to do this for him and I did, but afterwards I felt so dirty about it, and it has been hard to command respect from him ever since.
CD:
My ex asked me to pleasure another woman and allow him to watch and initially I said absolutely not, but he kept pushing it. While I was doing it he recorded me and actually posted it on the Internet without my knowledge. A few days after a friend called me to tell me that he had seen the video, and I went to the site and checked it out. My life has been hell since then. I have reported the video and all sort of things were said to me about the website owning rights to it. I basically had to leave Jamaica for a while to really come back to my normal self because I allowed a man to bring me to dirt.
DM:
I allowed my ex to dance with a close friend of mine at a party one night, and that led to us inviting her into our bed. I recently found out that they are still intimate. I blame myself for this.
