Wandering eyes
Frank Sinatra’s I only have eyes for you would give the impression that a man who is in love with his woman can only focus on her. But men will tell you that contrary to that, they are visual beings who will look at and appreciate other women, often with no ulterior motives.
How comfortable are you with your man admiring another woman?
Sandra:
My man tried that last night and I had to let him know what time it is. I don’t sit and take everything a man brings to the table. I am going to let you know straight up that you’re being offensive and it won’t slide with me. If you’re with me, do not slip and be telling me how another woman is beautiful. It is disrespectful.
Kathy:
I feel absolutely no way about it. I have learnt that not everything a man says or does should cause arguments. When I get to age 35 I want marriage, and if I follow up on everything a man does or says, then I will stay single.
JM:
My man knows that he’s not allowed to. Because if I start telling him that Ramone and Chris are sexy, he will take offence, so the same applies to him too.
SH:
I think it is a big slap in the face. I do not allow certain things in my relationship but I know a lot of couples who basically allow everything and anything. My friend used to do that with her ex-husband. She allowed him to give vivid descriptions of women he liked and admired and then she found out that he was sleeping with all the women he described, including one who worked on the same floor she did.
HM:
I do not condone my man doing this. I am supposed to be his world and once I see him straying, it is time for me to pack up and be gone.
