All stood up…
New love is always exciting and thrilling when everything goes right. It is indeed a beautiful experience, but what happens when nothing goes as expected? What if you spent hours doing your hair, nails and make-up, and your date stood you up, even if an apology comes afterwards?
Would you give that date another chance, or cancel Cupid on his mission?
Patrice:
I actually had this experience and he turned up four hours later telling me that the police had detained him because of issues with the car he was driving. I was storming mad but it turns out that that actually happened. Sometimes things do happen, so ladies, do not be too quick to close all doors. I gave him another date and that was two years ago. We are now engaged.
Cleandra:
I would take that as a red flag. I am the type of woman that once you slip, you slide with me. I am sorry but I’d take that as a serious offence.
Angie:
Things do happen that could cause the delay. For me, it is all in communication. Once he calls or texts me and lets me know what is the big hold up, I could understand that. But if I am sitting there waiting and no communication is made, I would definitely think twice about continuing that love affair.
Michelle:
That is a bright red flag to not go further. If he breaks the first commitment, clearly he will break them all, and if you are the type seeking real love and stability, that man is probably a wrong choice.
Sheryl:
It is definitely a big disrespect. I would block and delete that individual. I have never had an experience like this, but should I do, I already plan my escape from that. I am not sure why a woman would consider giving such a man another chance, but to each her own.
