In or out – what is he?
Confusion will wreck a relationship; if you are with someone and you’re not sure about their end goals or their real motives, it can destroy you mentally.
We gave the stage to several women to open up to their truths.
Amy:
I was dating a man for almost eight years and I was really confused about whether I was actually in a relationship because there were days when he would be gone and I could not reach him, and then he would reappear. My family and friends were very worried that I was wasting my life away waiting for this man to decide what he wanted. Ladies, give a man a year to figure himself out, and if hasn’t after that, move on!
JT:
I literally told my husband before we got married that he had several months to know what he wanted because I wasn’t about to waste my time when I know for sure I could find someone else to appreciate what I brought to the table.
NP:
I don’t think any man should string a woman along. Ladies, I did that for over a decade and believe me, when the guy left me, in less than a year he was married and expecting a baby with another woman. I am not sitting down waiting for no man anymore. It is either you want me, or leave me alone.
CJ:
My experience was being a relationship for six years thinking one day he would make a decision and ask me to marry him. He never did, but when we split, I heard he got married shortly after. Believe me, I had to get therapy as I was in a terrible mental state, bordering on going mad. I told myself, once I stepped into another relationship I would set boundaries and give myself timelines and once those are breached, it is a done deal. Ladies, you must do this to protect your heart because our hearts are fragile.
Crystal:
Love will make you do things you said you would never do because I waited and waited and waited for my man to grow up and man up and when he finally did, I felt like a proud mother. I love my man so I would actually wait an eternity for him.
