Grooming him to perfection
Some men are ready to go from the get-go, and others, you will have to groom into what you desire. For some women, it’s simply too much time and effort to shape a man into a real man, and waiting for that man to come into his own. And then there are some who will wait and stay by their man’s side, to ensure he is groomed into the man she wants.
We asked women, would you take him up and fix him up?
Carol:
If love is there, I will wait. But I can understand why some women will not invest in these men because some of these men are users and are looking for someone to take care of them like they are children and I am not yet a mother and have no plans on being one to a grown man. So it all depends, where I am concerned.
Catherine:
I did that with my husband. When I met him, his life was all over the place and I basically sat with him and made his goals into a reality. He married me and we are happy most of the time. I am just saying, sometimes the blessing is in the half-processed man that you overlook.
Briana:
I am not sure if I would wait because I am just too mature and have zero time to sit and wait for a man to grow up and get his act together. I broke up with someone over that same stagnant behaviour. My ex was always confused and every day, he was broke. I just simply couldn’t deal with it anymore.
Chantal:
I am not waiting on any man. Either he is ready-made or gets left behind, because the time I am there training him, I could be married with a family and living well.
Daphne:
I am in my 40s so I definitely have no time for that and even when I was in my 20s, I still had the same mindset. A man must be a man or he has no business seeking a woman.
