Your cheating heart
When it comes to a partner’s infidelity, especially when it involves a serial liar and cheater, it is easier to believe in their guilt rather than their innocence.
What if you were told by someone else that your current partner was cheating? Would you jump to agree, investigate it, or dismiss it as a rumour?
CE:
I would believe it because knowing my man, he is a cheater and no matter how many counsellors we see or how many times he tells me he is sorry and won’t do this or that again, he simply cannot help himself. But I just love that man so much that it is hard for me to leave the relationship.
DG:
I think I would investigate it because rumors are not always accurate and sometimes it starts from a hateful place. I once heard a rumor about me sleeping with my boss because I was always in his office and truth is, I was always in his office because I was working on a confidential project. But people love to chat and sometimes they chat too much so no, I wouldn’t jump to conclusions but investigate it if he gives me good reason to as well.
Kishawna:
I am having a huge problem in my relationship right now because of rumours. Because of past experiences, I am scared to trust my current partner so when I hear stuff, my first reaction is to believe and attack him. It is hard sometimes to not believe the rumours because men are just no good these days.
Brianna:
I am a firm believer in investigation so I would hack into all his social media accounts like I currently do, just to ensure that he is faithful. I know a lot of people say that is not healthy, but what is not healthy is the mental breakdown that would come after believing my man was faithful and he is not. I don’t just believe in rumors, though, I run my research first.
JM:
Based on my experience, it is best to remain calm when you hear certain things. Because of rumors I lost my relationship and it turns out it was all a lie and I lost my happiness. So ladies, do not be too quick to listen to others.
