Celebrating Jamaica
IT was Marcus Garvey who said, “A people without the knowledge of their past history, origin and culture is like a tree without roots.” As Jamaica celebrates 56 years of Independence, Sagicor’s Summer Camp recently exposed team members’ children to Jamaica’s culture and history. Decked in their Jamaica colours, campers excitedly went about the Sagicor Auditorium in New Kingston admiring the relics of our island’s past.
