Money
It’s important to be on the same page when it comes to finances. Discuss salaries and additional income. Many couples argue about money at some point in their relationship, but the key is finding a solution. Come up with a budget that allows both parties to be equally involved and allows each individual to have an opportunity to voice their feedback.
Trust
It is important to discuss all insecurities with your partner, even the hard stuff. Why is this important? Vulnerability strengthens love and trust and you have to open your heart so your partner knows where it hurts, to avoid hurting you.
Sex
Do not expect your partner to read your mind — say what you want. Have the conversation openly about sex or you will be receiving, possibly, something you despise, and you will be miserable and mad at your partner, ignoring the fact that they don’t know what you want.
Emotions
Be bold and express your feelings at all times. Say how you feel and why. If you practice holding it in or sweeping it under the carpet, expect a meltdown.
