Get him to open up
Men are innately introverted when it comes to their emotions and as such many women in relationships struggle with getting their men to openly say how they feel, or to express their real emotions.
Below are ways to get your guy to express his feelings to you.
Be real
Pretending to be confident and independent and strong or avoiding being honest about your true thoughts can push your guy to guard his own emotions.
Share your emotions
There are ways to say how you feel without making your guy feel like he is responsible for fixing your life. Say what you feel but do not charge him to fix it or fix you – that is your responsibility.
Try listening for a change
Women are natural communicators, so it is expected that they will naturally express how they feel and what they think. However, try giving your guy an opportunity to say something. Sometimes it is not that he has nothing to say, but rather he is not given a chance to.
Stop being defensive
Once you reveal yourself to be the author of wisdom, your guy will automatically shut down in his shell. You have to give him the space to share his wisdom too.
Avoid being self-centred
If all you talk about is yourself, he will close down his emotions. Try being more loving.
