Make marriage a place you desire

Marriage is a beautiful journey if your partner was meant for you. Marriage is not a prison sentence but rather a commitment to love one person in many ways for the rest of your life. If you choose correctly, you will find marriage a place you desire and a place of peace, comfort and love. Below are four pieces of advice for married women.

1. Relax and let things be

Love is a journey and if rushed, marriage will indeed feel like imprisonment. You have to allow each day to bring forth new memories. Allow your partner to love you in their own way and avoid dictatorship as that can ruin a beautiful experience.

2. Do not use sex or physical attraction as the base of your union

Physical attraction will fade so if you got married because your partner is attractive, you might be in a sticky situation. A marriage needs more than sex and more than attraction – it needs patience, loyalty and all the things that love entails.

3. Accept a man for who he is and not who you desire him to be

Once you accept someone for who they are, the fewer the arguments will be because you will no longer force him to be the man you think he should be.

4. Communicate with love

Love will contain you when you become angry or when you are disappointed in your partner. Once you speak with disrespect, your partner will reiterate and fire can never put out fire.
