Vows – Together At Last

Both met through mutual friends a few years ago, but it wasn’t until 2016 that they actually became friends. Two years of courtship eventually culminated on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Borghinvilla, Discovery Bay when Dare 2 Dream Enterprises, INC CEO Tiffany Murrell and FIS It Project Manager Aaron Perry were joined in holy matrimony. Vows details the rustic glam wedding celebration.

The proposal, as told by Tiffany

Aaron proposed to me on July 1, 2017 at the Stone Mountain Theme Park, Stone Mountain, Georgia. We were at the park when he started to tell me how proud he was of me for taking a leap of faith and leaving my corporate job to focus on my beauty consultant business full-time. While talking, he pulled out a blindfold and covered my eyes as he led me to a stream. Once he took the blindfold off, he pretended that we were doing a photo shoot with our family taking pictures. Then he gently turned me around and I saw family and friends holding up T-shirts that spelled out “Will You Marry Me?” Then Aaron got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I said yes!

The ceremony

Family and friends gathered at Borghinvilla to witness Tiffany and Aaron’s special day. Aaron wore a custom-made white linen suit by Joseph Abboud. The groomsmen wore beige linen pants and vests with white linen shirts and best men beige linen pants with white linen shirts. The bridesmaids wore sherbet peach dresses while the maids and matrons of honour wore champagne gold dresses from Forherandforhim. Clutching a bouquet of ivory roses, Tiffany entered to 1 + 1 by Beyoncé, sung by Adonica Nunn. She was a vision of elegance in a gorgeous rustic glam gown with zip-off train custom designed by Jasmyne Summers of Page XVII. Pastor Wynthorpe Walker from On Call Weddings Jamaica officiated the ceremony and later declared the couple husband and wife. Formalities out of the way, Tiffany and Aaron left the altar to Demarco’s Love My Life. The service also featured a knotting ceremony to symbolise two lives becoming one.

The reception

Family, friends and the bridal party converged under the tent on the cliffside at Borghinvilla where the rustic glam celebration continued. The area was decorated with shades of sherbet peach, champagne gold and ivory. The wedding party entered to Bruno Mars’s Finesse featuring Cardi B, after which Aaron and Tiffany danced their way in to Natalie Cole’s This Will Be An Everlasting Love. The evening continued with the unveiling of the three-tiered red velvet cake from Joy of Foods, and a hearty reception dinner catered by the Borghinvilla team. Further highlights were the couple’s first dance to Ed Sheeran’s Perfect featuring Beyoncé and the mother-and-son and father-and-daughter dance, after which guests danced the night away.

The honeymoon

The couple honeymooned in Dubai.
