5 habits of women who inspire change
SOME women are constantly celebrated for their ability to bounce back from challenges, empower others, and make a meaningful difference in the world around them. They inspire through their actions, lead with confidence, and create spaces where other women feel seen, heard and valued.
But what is their secret to leading by example, continuously growing, and amplifying other women’s voices?
“The answer often lies in the habits they practice daily,” said life coach Beth-Ann Falconer.
“Women who empower, women who are mindful, are intentional about how they think, act and connect with others,” she explained.
Here are five powerful habits these women embrace, shared by Falconer, and emphasised in the stories of the women we have featured over the years.
They practice self-awareness
Women who are mindful take time to reflect on their emotions, strengths, and areas for growth. “They understand that self-awareness is the foundation of personal development and healthy relationships,” Falconer said. “By checking in with themselves regularly, they make choices that align with their values and purpose.”
They support and celebrate other women
Women who empower others understand that success is not a competition. They uplift other women through encouragement, mentorship, collaboration and recognition. “Instead of feeling threatened by someone else’s achievements, they celebrate them and create opportunities for others to shine,” Falconer said.
They prioritise continuous growth
Women who lead by example never stop learning. Whether through reading, networking, developing new skills or embracing new experiences, they remain open to growth. “They understand that personal and professional development is a lifelong journey,” Falconer said.
They set healthy boundaries
Women who are mindful know the importance of protecting their peace, energy, and time. They are not afraid to say no when necessary, and they understand that boundaries are essential for maintaining balance and well-being. “This allows them to show up fully for themselves and others,” Falconer said.
They lead with purpose and kindness
Women who empower make intentional decisions rooted in compassion, integrity and authenticity. They lead with empathy, inspire through action, and use their voices to advocate for positive change. “Their kindness does not weaken them, it strengthens their influence and impact,” Falconer said.
Falconer said that women who empower are not perfect; rather, they are intentional. “Through self-awareness, growth, support for others and purposeful living, they create lasting impact and inspire the people around them to do the same,” she added.
