NUH Diss Nuh Man, the fourth album from singer Jah Niceness, has been released by Zojak World Wide. Produced by Jason Bromfield, it contains 10 songs.

Jah Niceness and Bromfield began production on the set one year ago. Unlike most contemporary reggae albums on which the artiste works with multiple producers, Bromfield was sole director on Nuh Diss Nuh Man.

The Clarendon-born artiste said that strategy paid dividends as the album’s flow is consistent.

“One of the benefits is that we both respect each other’s musical craft and that creates the perfect chemistry for this wonderful outcome,” Jah Niceness told the Jamaica Observer.

Nuh Diss Nuh Man is also the first artiste album for Bromfield’s Orlando-based Open Door Records which launched two years ago. It includes Yesterday, which was part of the Open Doors rhythm album that announced the label.

Jah Niceness has been recording for 16 years. His first song, Why do They Treat Youths Like This, was released while he was a student at Calabar High School.

Since then he has recorded a number of singles as well as collaborated with fellow singers such as Carl Meeks.

According to Jah Niceness, he and Bromfield did not use a formula during production for Nuh Diss Nuh Man. They agreed to maintain his “upfull standard”.

“Based on my musical upbringing I did go for a specific sound and I just allowed the vibration to flow. I always make music with roots and culture, lovers’ rock, coupled with a spiritual frame of mind,” said Jah Niceness.
