10tik shines at Bhim concert in Ghana
Dancehall star 10Tik delivered an electrifying performance at the Bhim concert in Accra, Ghana on Friday that showed his emergence as one of dancehall’s top acts.
Running onto the stage in a green shirt, black undershirt and black pants, he slid like a star football player celebrating a goal to the end of the long walkway, then got up and did two push-ups as the crowd roared and lost its mind.
He performed ‘Gangsta’ and got a ‘4caana’ forward to deafening cheers, and phone screens lit up the entire stadium like glittering diamonds on a black mink coat.
10Tik then performed a slew of his hit songs including ‘Mood’, ‘Real Way’ and ‘Roll Deep’. He got one of the biggest forwards for ‘Roll Deep’, his mega-hit that has over 30 million views on YouTube.
The Bhim concert featured Stonebwoy, fellow Jamaican star Jahmiel, D-Black, Kuame Eugene, S3fa, Efya, and Edem. The event was the climax of Stonebwoy’s 5th Dimension World Tour and featured dazzling stage setups, lighting effects, and great musical artistry. The event was a celebration of Ghanaian culture and the vibrant spirit of the Bhim Nation.
10Tik dominated airwaves in 2021 with the infectious ‘Roll Deep’ — a song that speaks to betrayal and treachery. The deejay followed up that bonafide street banger with grimy ‘The Real Way’, which has surpassed three million views, ‘Freedom’ which featured Yaksta, ‘Burning Issue’, and ‘We Nuh Like War’.
In 2021, 10Tik also triumphed at the Irie FM Music Awards, as his ‘Roll Deep’ track won Song of the Year.
10Tik will be releasing an album in 2024.
