Bugle looking forward to Culture Fest
It has been some time since Bugle performed in South Florida, but that drought comes to an end August 12 when he performs on Culture Fest, a show scheduled for Lallo’s in the city of Lauderhill.
Bugle, best known for songs like Rasta Party and Nuh Compatible, will share the stage with Etana, Lutan Fyah, Fantan Mojah, I Noah and Ras Fraser Jr. He said fans can expect a set high on passion and quality.
“Usually when Bugle turns up it’s always fire and dat’s because of the catalogue. Fans can expect anything from 30 minutes to two hours of hit songs. Sixteen years of hit songs,” he said.
As its name implies, Culture Fest is dominated by roots artists including Etana who is part of Reggae Date Night, promoters of the event. Bugle said her involvement is the main reason he is on the show.
“Mi looking forward to being on di show with Etana ‘cause is someone mi love like a sister. She’s someone who mi cherish an’ who mi have great conversations with,” he disclosed.
Bugle comes to South Florida with several new songs to his name. They include Live, We Know Who They Are (with Spragga Benz) and Us, a collaboration with emerging singer Gihrl.
Etana, who was born in St Andrew, spent most of her formative years in South Florida. She returned to Jamaica 20 years ago to focus on a music career that has produced a number of hit songs including the provocative Wrong Address, I Rise, I Am Not Afraid and Warrior Love.
