Hansle Parchment
KINGSTON, Jamaica - Olympic champion Hansle Parchment is among four more athletes who have withdrawn from the Racers Grand Prix that will be held at the National Stadium on Saturday.
It was announced that Parchment and Commonwealth Games gold medallist Rasheed Broadbell, female sprinter Tia Clayton and quarter-miler Akeem Bloomfield all withdrew from the event.
They join top Jamaican male sprinters Oblique Seville and Ackeem Blake who had withdrawn earlier in the week.
No reasons were however given for the latest withdrawals.
Meanwhile, persistent rain had forced the organisers to push back the start of the meet which was set for 6:30 pm.
