Tina Clayton wins big in 60m at Gibson Relays
KINGSTON, Jamaica – World Under-20 100m champion Tina Clayton stormed to victory in the 60m Women Open at the Gibson/McCook Relays at the National Stadium on Saturday.
Tina, who represents MVP Track Club, clocked a time of 7.02 seconds for the win.
She is to collect a cash prize of US$10,000 ($1.5 million).
Sashalee Forbes of SprintTec Track Club clocked a personal best of 7.03 for second, while her teammate, Ramona Burchell finished third in 7.04 seconds (+2.9).
All eight finalists in the 60m are set to pocket cash prizes.
