Windshield wiper shot dead in St Andrew
ST ANDREW, Jamaica— A windshield wiper is dead after he was shot multiple times by men aboard a motorcycle at the intersection of Dunrobin Avenue and Constant Spring Road in St Andrew.
The victim has been identified as Mourace Smith.
Preliminary reports are that around 10:45am on Tuesday, while Smith was working at the stoplight, two men on a motorcycle opened fire hitting the windshield wiper multiple times.
He was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police and crime scene detectives are currently on the scene, which has resulted in a pile up of traffic on Constant Spring Road. Motorists are advised to use alternative routes where possible.
