This collaboration will provide 1,500 free rides to and from Red Stripe hosted and sponsored events, offering a safe transportation option for patrons using the Cerbr ride-share app.

This two-year partnership, which was announced at the recently concluded ‘Responsibility Now Townhall – Beyond the tag line — Unpacking Responsible Consumption’, is an extension of Red Stripe’s esteemed ‘Get Home Responsibly’ campaign.

It is set to redefine safety measures by incorporating Lupine Technologies’ cutting-edge solutions.

According to Red Stripe, in the complex tapestry of Jamaica’s current crime situation, the intertwined values of safety, security, responsible consumption, and the unequivocal stance against drinking and driving form the foundation of a collective commitment to a safer and more resilient society.

In a release on Thursday the company said recognising the pressing need to address safety concerns, this multifaceted approach not only responds to the challenges at hand but actively shapes a future where individuals can thrive without compromising their well-being.

Cerbr is a micro-transit, ride-hail application developed by Lupine Technologies Limited and which offers a safe and reliable transportation experience, allowing customers to book rides from multiple registered hackney carriage companies through a single app.

To ensure safety and security, every ride is equipped with a proprietary virtual panic button provided by Hawkeye, a trusted security service. In the event of an emergency, riders can send out a distress signal, and Hawkeye’s team will respond promptly.

Cerbr is zero-rated, meaning no active data plan is required to access the app, further enhancing accessibility and ensuring that safety is at the forefront of every journey.
