Grand Return
Racers pulls world track and field eyes to Jamaica

The eyes of the track and field world will be on Jamaica this evening when the National Stadium, the island's sporting headquarters in the capital city, comes alive as Racers Grand Prix makes its return to the international athletics calendar.

Scheduled to start at 6:00 pm, the premier meet boasts some of the sport's top names, among them Shericka Jackson, Hansle Parchment, Tajay Gayle, Shaniecka Ricketts, Noah Lyles, Christian Coleman, Tobi Amusan, Wayde Van Niekerk and Zharnel Hughes.

As American poster boy and headline act Lyles puts it, there is track and field 'magic' in the Jamaican air.
