Olympian Shelly-Ann Fraser Pryce's Pocket Rocket Foundation is 10! The foundation — which through donations and fund-raising efforts provides academic scholarships to high school students — hosted its first awards gala on Saturday, November 4, at the AC Hotel, under the theme "Decade of Difference". Eleven student-athletes walked away with scholarships from the sprint legend.
Plus, Brother Vellies and 15 Percent Pledge founder Aurora James hit the 2023 Canadian Arts & Fashion Awards (CAFA) stage wearing Greta Constantine. James was among the evening's honorees, snagging the Vanguard Award for her "trailblazing work to make the global economy a more equitable place for historically excluded groups".
