All sysems go for GT Taylor Xmas show
Buoyed by past successes, the organisers of Jagra GT Taylor Christmas Reggae Extravaganza have pulled out all the stops for the 2010 edition. The event will be held at Independence Park in Black River St Elizabeth on Christmas Day featuring what is being referred to as the who’s who of reggae and dancehall in concert.
The event will feature an improved new stage, light and sound setting along with special VIP sky boxes. There will also be additional space for VIP as well as increased security and parking arrangements for patrons.
According to show promoter GT Taylor the improved amenities is a testament to the higher standards which the show has attained.
“We have decided that we want to take the show to a top notch level and give our patrons the best that is out there to offer.”
Taylor went on to add that viewing will be much more comfortable for patrons as they stage will now run from east to west.
A full scale production set including stage and light will be erected by renowned production company John Swaby.
With regard to the VIP area, Taylor pointed out that the section has been increased with a full scale wider operational bar outfitted with special service from Jagra.
New features to this year’s big show is the corporate Sky boxes which will accommodate three corporate companies and live television of the spectacular line up by Juice TV.
With all systems go, GT Taylor anticipates a well produced and executed show.
“We will be running a tight show this year, we have well over 45 artistes expected to perform so it will be all about professionalism on the day.”
During the band change segment, Taylor will be paying tribute to the late reggae legend Gregory Isaacs.
