Actor Chris McFarlane joins Judgement cast

Award-winning actor Christopher McFarlane is the latest addition to the smash hit Judgement, now on at the Pantry Playhouse.

McFarlane will alternate with Andre Morris as the vengeful Richard Thompson who is hell bent on getting even with his past love Sasha Baker(Dahlia Harris). His vengeful scheme involves wooing her best friend Janet Smith (Deon Silvera) by pretending to be the man of her dreams Antonio.

While still a student at the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts, McFarlane was nominated for an Actor Boy Award for his performance in Dennis Scott’s An Echo in the Bone. He eventually won the Actor Boy Award for Supporting Actor for his performance in Basil Dawkins’ Who God Bless and followed that with another award, this time for Actor in a Lead Role for his outstanding work in A Tempest. He has played major roles in productions such as A Raisin in the Sun, Against His Will, Country Duppy, and most recently What is Fi Yuh. He presently nominated for Actor in a Lead Role for his work in Appropriate Behaviour. Star of several local films including Goathead and Betta Mus Come, McFarlane is one of the lead actors in the soon to be released film Ghett’a Life.

Judgement will see McFarlane once again teaming with Harris and most audiences will recall their chemistry in Concubine?. McFarlane has also worked with both Harris and Silvera in Jamaica 2 Rahtid.

Judgement is slated to close at the end of March and runs Tuesdays to Sundays at the Pantry Playhouse in New Kingston.
