Many people prefer to run from situations because they are fearful of the outcome or result. One way of facing fear is to understand that in life, it is either you win or you learn. So if you have a specific goal that you desire to attack but are fearful that it will fail, then it probably will. But if you attack that goal with a mindset that you are aiming to win, you will. And if you don’t, and you look at it as a lesson learnt, then most likely you will succeed at your next attempt. But it all begins in your head. Think and speak positively even when you don’t feel like it.
When you sit and worry you act accordingly. You have to decide to act on faith, which means that if you have a fear of the dark, you decide that tonight you are going to sleep in the dark and do so peacefully because you know nothing will harm you. You have to act on purpose and not be led by your fears.
A mentor is a person who can guide you to the path you need to be. You need to align yourself with one or two of those and be guided. This will lift some, if not all of the anxiety as these people can provide you with the necessary tools and guidance you need to achieve. Don’t be afraid to seek help.
