The implications of being overworked
Being addicted to bettering yourself can cost you your happiness. It is one thing to have a successful career, but one should consider this obvious factor too – having success and no one to share it with.
How would you treat with a significant other who is always working?
Steve:My wife is the perfect example of this issue. She works all the time. Even when we are on vacation, my wife is on her laptop working, and while I admire her and she handles her own, I need a wife. Whenever I try to have sex with her, she is most times tired and it has affected us. I mean women throw themselves at me daily and it is difficult to fight the temptation when your wife is not attentive to your needs as her husband.GH:I had to leave my man for that. He was always busy until one night I found some guy on the internet, we hooked up, and I decided to end my relationship because I knew if my man found out, one of us would be at the morgue. I am still seeing the guy. I just couldn’t stand being in a mansion filled with furniture and no him.ST:I am a workaholic so I cannot be with someone who is not on the same level so right now I am single and have been for years. Most men cannot handle it but I am a boss and it is really difficult for me to idle and waste time.Michael:The implications are simple – you will be cheated on and probably remain single until you learn to chill.HB:I do admire a woman who works but too much of anything is a disaster.
