La dolce vita — the sweet life — was embraced in spectacular fashion as guests gathered for Caribbean Assurance Brokers CEO Donna Brown’s 60th birthday celebrations at the trendy Mezza Luna restaurant, Thursday last.

Heavy showers failed to dampen the enthusiasm! Indeed, if anything, the inclement weather upped the style quotient.

Party Blasters Pro did a great job of transforming the rooftop space into a disco-chic sanctuary, setting the tone for a grown folks’ evening.

Between delicious fare and cocktails provided by the Mezza Luna team, DJ Revvy’s pulsating beats which kept the energy high until dancehall artiste Chi Ching Ching’s pulsating set that sparked a dance floor frenzy, la dolce vita was in full swing. On the stroke of midnight, guests serenaded the woman of the hour with the Stevie Wonder version of
the
Happy Birthday song as she cut her three-tiered cake from Kukup Kreations.

Page 2 has highlights from the swanky celebrations that will long be remembered by those fortunate enough to have secured an invite.
