Jamaica’s manufacturers, exporters, financiers, and policymakers gathered recently at the AC Hotel Kingston for the third staging of the JMEA’s Manufacture 360° Conference. Held under the theme ‘Robust Recovery and Resilient Growth’ and the overarching banner ‘Shaping the Future of Manufacturing from All Angles’, the conference tackled the pressing realities facing the sector in the aftermath of recent hurricanes and ongoing global uncertainty. Beyond the question of recovery, discussions focused on what the sector will recover to look like, confronting challenges directly and exploring deliberate pathways to build a manufacturing industry that is more resilient, competitive, and better positioned for sustainable growth.
