Burmese doctor dies after collision with JUTC bus
ST CATHERINE, Jamaica – A 59-year-old man died Tuesday shortly after the motor vehicle he was driving collided with a State-owned bus on West Henderson Boulevard in Portmore, St Catherine.
OBSERVER ONLINE understands that the man, identified as Thein Zaw, is a Burmese medical doctor residing in Greater Portmore.
Police reports are that about 4:23 pm, Zaw collided with a Jamaica Urban Transit Company bus after driving out of a tyre shop.
He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
