May Pen police hold man with firearm
CLARENDON, Jamaica — The May Pen police yesterday held a man with a Smith and Wesson 9mm pistol and sixteen 9mm rounds of ammunition on the Effortville, Long Gully main road in Clarendon.
Reports from the police are that the lawmen were on patrol at about 11:30 am when they observed a man behaving suspiciously. On the approach of the officers the man pulled a firearm from his waistband and dropped it. The firearm was seized and the man taken in to custody.
His identity has not yet been disclosed.
