Olympic Gardens Health Centre gets facelift
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Scores of National Commercial Bank (NCB) workers along with volunteers and members of the Under-17 Reggae Boyz team are currently painting the Olympic Gardens Health Centre.
The health centre is one of three health centres that will benefit from refurbishing work organised by NCB.
“We are refreshing everything; we are going to be restoring some windows. The kitchen will be done. The bathroom will be done,” said Belinda Williams, manager corporate communications and social responsibility at NCB.
She said NCB will also be donating water tanks and digital kits to do medical testing.
More than 112 volunteers, which also include NCB scholars and community members, are labouring at the centre.
According to Williams, the centre was selected because of its urgent need for repair and because of the great number of citizens it serves.
