Student among three shot in St James
ST JAMES, Jamaica – Investigators from the St James Police Division and curious onlookers are now gathered at a section of Railway Lane in Montego Bay, St James, following a shooting incident in the inner-city community earlier today.
A man was allegedly killed and his common-law-wife and a student shot and injured.
According to reports, about 4:30 pm explosions were heard in the Railway Lane area.
It was later discovered that the three people had been shot.
The woman and the student – said to be eight-years-old – were rushed to hospital for treatment. Their condition is not known.
Up to a short while ago, the body of the deceased man remained on a bloodstained section of the roadway.
