Observer Fun Day Fiesta for Savanna-la-Mar, today
The Jamaica Observer in association with the Westmoreland Football Association presents the Observer Fun Day Fiesta at the Llandilo Cultural Centre, Savanna-la-Mar today, starting at 9:30 am.
Activities include football and netball competitions and DJ contests.
Apart from the sporting activities, children will be able to play in the bounce-about, the orbit and enjoy the swings.
Music will be provided by Mega Force disco while Irie FM’s Ron Muschett will do emcee duties.
Saturday Night Vibes Party continues at the Brewery
The weekly Saturday Night vibes party continues tonight at The Brewery on Montego Bay’s Hip Strip on Gloucester Avenue.
This week the popular Road Star disco will entertain.
Last week’s show, which featured Olympic Music, was a huge success and this week’s party should be no different.
Showtime is 11:00 pm.
Beenie Man for Bojay’s Lawn
International reggae artiste Beenie Man appears tonight at the Bojay’s Lawn in Anchovy, St James.
The event, which is dubbed “Beenie Man at the Turn Table”, features Gringo and Little Shotta from the Shocking Vibes stables.
A host of local acts will also be on show. These include Major Lloyd, Fire Lion, Mouth Piece, Okonko, Razor Brown, and War Face.
Music will be provided by Jah Creation and Fire Links.
Western Consciousness for Savanna-la-mar next Saturday
King of Kings promotions presents “Western Consciousness” at the Llandilo Cultural Centre, Savanna-la-Mar next Saturday.
The line-up for the show includes Capleton, Anthony B, Luciano, Coco Tea, George Nooks, Everton Blender, Edi Fitzroy, John Holt, Admiral Tibet, Abijah, Warrior King, Nadine Sutherland, Alton Ellis and Bongo Herman.
The backing band will be Prophecy while Cordell Green, Ron Muschett and GT Taylor will do emcee duties.
Showtime is set for 9:00 pm.
