‘Bugman’ murdered in Clarks Town

CLARKS TOWN, Trelawny – A tense calm hung over the sugar belt community of Clarks Town on Thursday night, following the discovery of a community man earlier in the day.

Dead is Everton Campbell who was also known as “Bugman”, a labourer from the area. His body was discovered with what police theorise were stab and gunshot wounds.

Reports that residents heard gunshots at about 11:00 pm on Wednesday night. Early Thursday morning Campbell’s body was found dead with stab wounds to the chest and left side and a gunshot wound to his left ear. The Clarks Town police are conducting investigations.
