Poolside seek draw to advance

TRURO, Westmoreland

Poolside FC need only a draw against fellow promoted side Savanah FC at Truro tomorrow afternoon to book a spot in the second end-of-round finals of the Westmoreland Football Association’s Captain’s Bakery Major League.

Poolside who earned just six points in the first round, have won all three Zone A return- round games played so far and will also be seeking to avenge a first-round loss to last season’s Division one champions.

Poolside have also taken over the lead in the overall lead in Zone A with 15 points, three more than beaten first end-of- round finalists Russia.

Russia will also seek to avenge a first-round loss to Petersfield when they meet at Llandilo today.
