C’Hall thump Salt Spring 5-0

MONTEGO BAY, St James — Western Confederation Super League team Catherine Hall secured their place in the semi-finals of the St James Football Association’s Captain’s Bakery Knock-Out on Friday after a 5-0 thrashing of Salt Spring United at the UDC Field.

Philmore Thompson and Andre Barrett scored twice for Catherine Hall, while Lavern Godfrey scored the other for the Garfield Anderson-coached team.

Catharine Hall join Granville in the last four after Granville edged Mountain Villa 3-2 in a quarter-final game on Wednesday.

The other two semi-final spots will be decided on Monday and Tuesday. Fogo United and Mt Salem will meet on Monday, while Seba United and their sister club Abes will meet on Tuesday.
