Tastee’s Trail kicks off May 7
THE producers of the 2010 season of the Tastee Talent Trail are hailing it a success for decades-old talent competition, and are therefore eagerly anticipating the 2011 renewal.
The new look Tastee Talent Trail opens its 2011 season with its first audition next Saturday May 7 at the Portmore Tastee outlet in the Portmore Town Centre.
Having undergone two significant changes, these proved the fillip needed to take the Tastee Talent Trail to the number 1 status in the talent show genre. The first came by way of a slant towards reality TV with a heavy dose of drama, high point of which was a reality weekend filmed on location at Breezes Rio Bueno.
This was followed by a switch to being aired on TVJ at 9:30pm on Saturday nights.
Back as sponsors this year are Tastee, Pepsi, Breezes, Supreme Ventures, TVJ, FAME, LIME, T-shirt Express, KSAC and Kosmo Car Rentals.
Judges remain Amelia “Milk” Sewell, Oral Tracey and Audrey Reid while host Elva returns for her second stint.
Other audition locations and dates are Bargain Village, Plaza, May Pen May 28, Island Village Ocho Rios June 25, Independence Park Savanna La Mar June 29, Tastee Montego Bay (105 Barnett Street) August 13, Tastee Cross Roads Kingston August 27.
