Chezidek plots two-month European trek
Roots reggae singer Chezidek scores big with his latest single Secret Enemy. The song has been enjoying widespread attention on Jamaican and European radio stations. Released on the Sensitive Promotion label, Secret Enemy is a poignant warning for persons to be careful of the type of friends with whom they associate.
An accompanying music video which effectively captures the message relayed in the song’s lyrical content is directed by Asha McHail.
Chezidek, who has carved out a strong following on European shores where he is in consistent demand for appearances, topped the Jamaican music charts a few years ago with the mellow Leave The Trees single.
Since the success of Leave The Trees, Chezidek has followed up with songs such as Call Pon Dem, Inna Di Road, Sun And Rain and Herb Campaign.
He recently acquired new management and is being represented by Sensitive Promotion which has offices in Switzerland and New York, USA.
Chezidek is expected to release a new album later this year, which will feature Secret Enemy and another poignant track, Stand Still. A two-month tour of Europe is scheduled to commence this weekend.

RDX rides the charts with Movements and Turn Your Swag Up
Dancehall duo RDX recently returned from Africa where they delivered performances at the Swaggeriffic Bend Over concert in Nairobi and the East African Carnival in Uganda.
With the duo’s Bend Over reportedly being one of the hottest dancehall songs in the country, it was no surprise that thousands came out to catch a glance of the Swagger Masters in action.
Songs including Daggering, Skip, Turn Your Swag Up and Dancers Anthem, saw the crowds singing along word for word.
Upon their return to Jamaica, the duo went into the studios to put the finishing touches to their upcoming album.
Among their recent singles are Champion Sound which is featured on the 50 Pound rhythm project from Blaqk Sheep Music; and the female anthem Like Magic which was produced by Equiknoxx Music.
RDX is currently riding the Toronto Dancehall chart with Turn Your Swag Up in the number 10 spot. On the Pree Dis Top 10 Singles chart, the duo’s Movements peaked at number four.
RDX will head to Europe in June to commence their summer tour.
Adele continues charts onslaught
Her 21 continues to dominate the album charts in America and the UK but there seems no slowing down of Adele’s success. The British singer maintains the lead on the Billboard Hot 100 for a second week with the single Rolling In The Deep.
With a bulldozer known as Born This Way set to railroad its way onto the album chart over the next weeks, expect Adele’s 21 to make way for Lady Gaga’s offerings.
Chart Updates
R&B singer Miguel takes over the number one spot on Billboard’s R&B Hip Hop Singles & Tracks chart with Sure Thing. Miguel removed Chris Brown’s Look At Me Now from its seven-week stint at the top of the chart.
