Before she was the world’s sexiest pop star

People Post

She’s now one of the world’s sexiest pop stars, but Rihanna was once just an adorable little girl with pigtails.

This exclusive new childhood photo shows the star in a cute pink shirt, aged about four, with her younger brother Rorrey, who is aged about two in the photo.

The pair are standing outside their family home in Bridgetown, Barbados, with their parents Ronald Fenty and Monica Braithwaite sitting behind them, back in 1992.

Another unseen snap of a young Rihanna shows the S&M singer aged about nine, with her younger cousin Noelle, who now frequently travels the globe with Rihanna while she tours. Speaking about her memories of the young Rihanna, Noelle’s older sister, Nicola Alleyne, who used to babysit them both, said: “I just remember her curly hair and beautiful eyes. She was a really determined person.

When she set herself on something she would just do it. She’s stubborn and sticks to her guns. She’s just a very likeable person.

She’s very faithful to her old friends. When I see how hard she works I’m amazed. I don’t have the stamina to work as hard as she does.

She’s really down to earth and sweet.” Nicola, who runs a clothes store in Bridgetown, added: “She used to come and help out her mother at her store selling clothes, and she used to come and help sell with us when she was about 11 or 12.”

‘Dating in LA is hard’

Lauren Conrad admits dating in Los Angeles is ‘hard’. The fashion designer — who rose to fame on Laguna Beach and spin-off TV show The Hills, and had previously been romantically linked to Brody Jenner and Derek Hough — has been single for much of the last year, and she admits finding her dream man can be tough.

She said: “Yes, I am single at the moment. Dating in Los Angeles can be hard, which makes it all the better when you meet a really nice guy.

“I’m not old-fashioned when it comes to dating, but there’s something nice about a guy pulling out a girl’s chair and opening the door for her, even if it’s just in the beginning.”

However Lauren admits she has little time for dating as she loves to be busy with work. She added in an interview with Look magazine: “It’s funny. I’m my happiest when I’m really busy.

“I love feeling like I need one more hour of sleep, or when I’m running around frazzled!” Meanwhile, she also revealed she still does not talk to Heidi Montag.

The former best friends fell out soon after Heidi began her turbulent relationship with husband Spencer Pratt in 2006. Despite Heidi previously taking to Twitter to tell Lauren she ‘misses’ her, Lauren says that while she still sees co-star Stephanie Pratt, she has nothing to do with Heidi.
