Curfews imposed in 5 parishes

CURFEWS were imposed in five parishes last night.

They will remain in effect until 6:00 pm tomorrow.

In St Andrew, curfews are in Grants Pen, Castle Heights, Kintyre, African Gardens, Tavern, Jungle 12, Bryce Hill, Nannyville and Bottom Rome.

In St James, curfews are in Salt Spring, Granville, Flanker, Rose Heights and Hendon.

In Kingston, curfews are in Southside, Bayshore Park and Rockfort.

In St Catherine, curfews are in Park Heights, Portmore Lane, Naggo Head, Newlands, Central Village and Waterford.

Curfews are also in Gordon Pen Ellerslie Pen, St Johns Road, Job Lane, Lauriston, Dela Vega City, Wynters Pen and Lakes Pen.

And in Westmoreland, curfews are in Bethel Town and Grange Hill.

During the hours of the curfews, all persons within the boundaries are required to remain within their premises unless otherwise authorised in writing by the members of security forces in charge of enforcing the curfews.
