Just empty election promises
Dear Editor,
I am confused as to what JEEP really means. I had already taken the stance that it meant “just empty election promises”, and hoped that I would be proved wrong. However, from what I have been seeing, it seems as if not only was it empty election promises, but also stuff that was taken from what the JLP had already put in place.
For example, the Career Advancement Programme, which, if I am not mistaken, was implemented by Andrew Holliness, suddenly now is a part of JEEP.
Not to mention that it seems as if JEEP is seeking private sector participation. In all honesty it looks like JEEP is full of more questions than answers.
I am also appalled at what is being considered as 50 years of Independence. It is a downright joke that this PNP government would dare to talk about celebrations when, after 35 years, so many things are in shambles. What do we really have to celebrate? Being independent means being able to stand on your own two feet. We can’t!
At what point will we receive some kind of accountability? At what point will the PNP admit that they have no clue what they are doing or where they are going? Or will they continue to use arrogance to push the country into further chaos.
