Puma brings music to the Yard
ATHLETIC Sports company PUMA will be going all out to ensure that there will be fun outside of the Olympic arena at PUMA Yard during the London Olympics.
The village opens on July 27 at The Boiler House, part of the Old Truman Brewery, on Brick Lane in Shoreditch, East London.
According to the company’s website there will be a “buzz and bustle around London Town with tons of activities and all things Jamaica.”
Among the many activities planned for the ‘Yard’ will be afternoon tea (adult beverage) at the PUMA Social Club.
Visitors to the PUMA Yard can even get caught up in the Olympic spirit by taking part in the Everyone Can Bolt Speed Test.
“Or simply kick back at the beach and catch some sport action on one of the 20 plus television screens. In the evenings, there will be live music events featuring various bands and DJs — not least of which are Groove Armada and Professor Green,” the website posted.
Although admission for the yard is free advance ticketing will be required. To get in on the action, fans must visit puma.com/yard and register for access.
Digital tickets can be printed from home or scanned from a smart phone at the point of entry. Registration began on June 19.
