Yallahs cop returns to court December 14

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Dwayne Smart, the police corporal who shot and killed a pregnant woman in St Thomas, will next appear in the Home Circuit Court for a case management hearing on December on 14.

The date was set when he appeared in court Friday. He was remanded.

Kay-Ann Lamont was killed in the Yallahs Square and her sister shot and injured in September.

Attorney Valerie Neita Robertson is representing Smart.
