Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce auctions spikes for Sigma Run

Kingston, Jamaica – Two time Olympic sprint champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce says that she will be auctioning an autographed pair of spikes to support the Sigma 5k Run.

“…as one of the Patron’s for the 15th Sagicor Sigma Corporate Run, to assist with fund raising, I have donated an autographed pair of spikes for auction and am counting on you fans to support this worthy cause,” Fraser Pryce posted via her official Facebook fan page.

Funds raised from the auction will go to local child care facilities Bustamante Hospital for Children and the Jamaica National Children’s Home and Best Care Lodge.

The Sigma 5k road race, now in its 15th year, is scheduled for Sunday, February 17.

Registration for this year’s 5k Run has reportedly reached over 20,000 surpassing the 16,000 participants last year.
