VOWS: Just married!

A successful marriage requires falling in love many times, always with the same person…

It is always easy to determine when two people complement each other beautifully, and it seems Tracey Quest and Rohan DaCosta are indeed a match made in heaven. Though the skies were overcast on the day of their nuptials — the perfect backdrop for their wedding’s colour palette, we noted — their spirits were in no way dampened as the fun-loving duo very clearly enjoyed every moment of their big day. They got dressed for their nuptials at the lovely Sea Star Villa in Portland, ahead of a superbly styled ceremony and reception at Dragon Point, also in Portland, where they celebrated the union of their lives with family and friends.

Tracey was exquisite in a mermaid-hem dress with beaded bodice and matching cathedral veil accentuated with just-right make-up by Paul March and fabulous Jimmy Choo shoes. She clutched a bouquet of white roses in her hands as she glided up the aisle to meet her beloved. Her supporting bridesmaids were also stunning in seafoam green. The bridegroom, too, cut quite a stylish figure in a metallic slate-coloured suit paired with a black shirt and matching tie, which his groomsmen also wore, substituting the slate tie for seafoam green.

Post-vows and passionate kisses, Rohan and his new bride partied with their guests to the musical selections of DJ Pepsi. Shrieks and laughter permeated the air as the newly-weds and their loved ones celebrated into the night… ahead of rafting along the Blue Lagoon to participate in a Trash The Dress (and suit) exercise at the Trident Hotel the following day… the perfect start to their new adventure as husband and wife.
