Executive Motors donates to Calabar High School
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Red Hills Road-based Calabar High School recently received a significant boost from Mazda dealers, Executive Motors.
The school received a motorcar and a cheque for $1 million.
“Last year was our centenary and we asked our Old Boys if they could help with the eight-grade school block that the school built. We greatly appreciate the move that Executive Motors has made,” Russell Thompson, chief executive officer of the Calabar Centenary Committee.
Desmond Panton, CEO of Executive Motors and Calabar alumni, made the presentation at the showroom to the headmaster Albert Corcho.
In attendance was former Prime Minister PJ Patterson, also a former Calabar student.
The 2013 Mazda 6 was donated to the office of the principal.
