Two men shot dead in Portmore

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Police in the St Catherine South Division say they are keeping a close watch on sections of Portmore, St Catherine after two men were shot and killed in separate incidents over the past 12 hours.

The dead men have been identified as 45-year-old Everett Wesley and Calvin Collins, a gas station owner.

Police report that about 9:00 am Collins was walking in Waterford when he was attacked and shot dead by gunmen.

Less than four hours later Wesley was shot and killed in Braeton.
