Christian Bale shows off another body transformation

People Post

Christian Bale is well-known for his dramatic weight loss for big screen roles, and he revealed the full extent of his weight gain for new role in the David O Russell film American Hustle.

The actor’s weight gain was noticeable during filming, but a clip shows Bale, who plays con artist Irving Rosenfeld, with his shirt open revealing a very big paunch.

The actor who has become famous for his role as Batman in the Dark Knight series, was last seen in peak physical condition for his second appearance in the comic book franchise.

So it must have been quite challenging for him to go from fit to fat so soon after attaining the physique needed to play the comic book hero.

Bale has previously lost weight for roles in the movies The Machinist and Rescue Dawn, and was typically forthright in his response to critics who consider his shape-shifting a gimmick.

‘Angelina’s a human dynamo!’

She said earlier this year she was going to do everything within her power to tell his story in the best way she can.

And it seems that while Angelina Jolie worked with war veteran Louis Zamperini on the upcoming movie Unbroken, the pair have become firm friends.

The first official image from the film shows mother-of-six Angelina with her eyes closed as she rests her head on Louis’ shoulder.

Louis, 96, meanwhile, stares straight into the camera with a slight smile on his face.

Angelina and Louis, who live near to each other in the Hollywood Hills, have formed a close friendship while working together on the project, with the former Olympic athlete even giving Angelina a golden running shoe pendant, which he won on one of the earliest races in his career, as a gift while she shoots the movie in Australia.

Unbroken is an adaptation of Laura Hillenbrand’s 2010 best-selling book that spent 108 weeks on the New York Times bestseller list and 14 of those weeks at No 1

It tells the story of the life of Zamperini, an Olympic athlete and war veteran who survived a plane crash during the war and floated on a raft for 47 days before being picked up by the Japanese and sent to a prisoner of war camp.

Matt Damon and Cate Blanchett take on the Nazis in new Monuments Men trailer

He is joined by a star-studded cast but it looks like Matt Damon is set to be the hero in upcoming movie The Monuments Men.

A new trailer for the film was released last Friday and provides a more serious look at the movie than its predecessor, which focused largely on the light-hearted moments.

The Monuments Men is about a group on the front lines in Europe during World War II as they attempt to save precious art stolen by Nazis.

In the second trailer, Matt’s character, Lt James J Rorimer, is sent to France in a bid to enlist the help of Rose Valland, played by Cate Blanchett.

Cate, who pulls off a French accent, is seen puffing away on a cigarette as her character asks: “How can I help you steal our stolen art?”

It seems Rose is reluctant to come to James’ aid, but he eventually manages to convince her to help him and his men.
