Watch out for Higher Boukie
TWELVE years ago, deejay Higher Boukie placed third in the Reggae Trail talent competition. The artiste, now based in the United States, is still doing music. He has just released the single, Bran, on his I Boukie Music Production label.
“So far it’s getting some very positive feedback. Right now my team and I are working hard to promote it in the US, Jamaica and Europe,” he said.
Higher Boukie is also involved in show promotion. He co-produced the Libra Affair event, which took place in Connecticut in September.
“As an artiste and a businessman I am always looking for new ventures. A couple months ago I joined forces with my good friend Tony from the Basement Family in Connecticut to put on a show called Libra Affair, and it was very successful. We plan to produce more events in the coming year.” he said.
